Odd Burger has received approval to distribute its retail product line through 7-Eleven Canada, with its products slated to appear in more than 500 convenience stores nationwide by mid-June. The agreement grants 7-Eleven exclusive rights to distribute Odd Burger’s products within the convenience-store vertical for six months.
“This is without a doubt one of those game-changing moments for our Company”
The initial product offering at 7-Eleven will include four items: Crispy ChickUn Fillet, Chickpea Burger, Smash Burger, and Breakfast Sausage. These products are manufactured by Preposterous Foods, a wholly owned subsidiary of Odd Burger Corporation, which will see an increase in production capacity as a result of this deal.
James McInnes, CEO and co-founder of Odd Burger, commented on the partnership: “This is without a doubt one of those game-changing moments for our Company. We see incredible potential with this partnership, not only to grow our brand, but also to create truly accessible plant-based food options available to the masses.”

Dual business model
Odd Burger operates as both a franchised vegan fast-food restaurant chain and a food technology company. Its business model combines a proprietary line of plant-based protein and dairy alternatives with smart kitchen technology and automation. This allows the company to serve both its own restaurant locations and retail channels through its consumer-packaged goods line.
The company’s decision to focus on expanding within Canada follows a recent pause in its US market expansion due to tariff concerns. Instead, Odd Burger is reinforcing its Canadian operations, having also secured a distribution deal with Dot Foods Canada earlier this month.
Marc Goodman, Vice President and General Manager of 7-Eleven Canada, also serves on Odd Burger’s board of directors, indicating a close relationship between the companies.
Boosting Canadian retail reach
The new retail listing at 7-Eleven Canada represents a significant expansion for Odd Burger’s consumer-packaged goods line, potentially increasing its market reach substantially across Canada’s convenience store sector.
From the retail partner side, Jeff Monachello, Senior Director of Merchandising at 7-Eleven Canada, noted the company’s objective to broaden vegetarian offerings and sustainability efforts: “7-Eleven is committed to increasing its vegetarian options and being a leader in sustainability and Odd Burger is well positioned to help us push these initiatives forward.”
